The Conduct action is available to anyone who is Novice or higher in their Magic skill training.
- #Conduct: #A: 1 mana: You can sense weather an effect is magical.
#Trait: Weave: While using the conduct technique you are able to form a rune of a school of magic, enabling further magic actions while weaving.
#Trait: Sigil: you may select multiple expressions from within a single school, or a rune and an expression from another school while weaving a rune.
#Trait: Script you may weave runes from multiple schools.
Once you have taken the conduct action to weave a rune, sigil, or script, you are in a state of weaving, and make take subsequent actions, typically the action of using a magical practice to enact a magical effect.
<center><font color="#bccad8"><font size="+1">Using Magic</center></font></font>
- Magic requires the usage of the Conduct action, the weaving of a rune, expenditure of mana, a conduit, materials, a verbal expression, and a somatic pattern.
- Magic is a complicated performance that begins with the user expending mana from within themselves into a conduit (determined by your tradition). The mana required to use magic is outlined in the skill training.
- The conduit is then used to pass through one of the 6 fundamental fields to reach an intersection of two fields that is determined by the school and its associated rune.
- A rune is woven with a somatic gesture and verbal gesture with the combination of 2 glyphs, each glyph a representative of the two parts (fields) of the rune. Sigils and scripts follow the same process, but with additional glyphs, corresponding to the prefixes and suffixes seen in the associated school.
- When the rune has been woven, the practice being used may be initiated. The required materials as described in the practice will undergo a transformation in accordance with the school being woven, having substance be replaced with the substance from the magic. The substances that correspond with the fields depicted in the rune will return to their respective fields, and the new substance will emerge forth materializing itself as a new substance.
Your nature is the primary field that you pull from.
The school is the desired effect.
The tradition is the rubric for the materials required.
The practice is the methodology of using the magic.

>>[!quote|no-i ttl-c] Nature
>> Your Magical Nature determines the initial field that is traversed through while conducting. This will provide traits that affect the conduct action, as well some material costs for practices.
>
>>[!quote|no-i ttl-c] Tradition
>> Your Magical Tradition determines the type of components and their properties for the practices that call for them. This also outlines the substances required for those components as well as the verbal requirements, and the conduit requirements for the magic.
>> Your Tradition will affect the visual aspect of how magic rings are represented when weaving.
>
>>[!quote|no-i ttl-c] School
>> The School of magic provides the rune required to weave, as well as the two glyphs representing the primary fields that are needed to be traveled through with the conduit resulting in a described effect from within the selected forms of the schools. Prefixes and suffixes are also outlined within the schools when using a magic sigil or script
