>>Alchemy is the art of manipulating homogeneous materials and their properties.

The Gathering aspect of the art is the collection of inert material called 'Prima Materia'
>>
The Processing aspect of the art is using a kiln to transfer a homogeneous property of an object and transferring it to the prima materia to create a resulting alchemical product
>>
The Crafting aspect of the art is using a variety of tools to utilize the property within an alchemical product. This property can be transferred to a material, honed to become a material of its own, or mixed with other materials to create a new one.

>>>##### Gathering
>>> #LR: Gather Prima Materia:
>>> Gathering prima materia follows the standard gathering Light activity, for making a check vs the material used, and for duration of gathering.
The material used must be a naturally occurring object.
The required tool is a kiln, along with a heat source of equivalent rank to the rank of the item being used as a material. 6 stocks of homogeneous ash are required to be present inside the kiln.
On a success, the material used becomes a prima materia stock of equivalent rank.
On a failure the item is destroyed and rendered into a stock of homogeneous ash if it would be susceptible to destruction by intense heat.

>>>##### Processing
>>> #LR Process Prima Materia:
>>> Processing prima materia follows the standard gathering Light activity, for making a check vs the desired properties rank.
An item is placed within the kiln, after selecting 1 of 3 attachments that will determine the form of the alchemy product.
Pneumator: The alchemy product will be a gas.
>>> - this requires a container to hold the gas
>>>
>>> Condenser: The alchemy product will be a liquid.
>>> - this requires a container to hold the liquid.
>>>
>>> Mould: The alchemy product will be a solid.
>>> - the product will take the shape of the mould. The mould must be of homogeneous ash, that can be collected from the inside of the kiln after failed gathering attempts.
>>>
>>> a property from among 4 of the 6 primary fields are selected.
Albedo: for Coalescence
Negredo: for Eve
Citrinitas: for Atom
Rubido: for Memoria
On a successful check, the prima materia will become a homogeneous alchemy product that has a property from the selected field.
On a failure a magnitude die is rolled.
>>>
>>> 1) The prima materia and the item are both rendered into a stock of homogeneous ash each.
>>> 2) An Albedo property is transferred
>>> 3) A Negredo property is transferred
>>> 4) A Citrinitas property is transferred
>>> 5) A Rubido property is transferred
>>> 6) A property from the selected field is transferred
>>>
An alchemy product will have the following additional properties based on it's form.
>>>
Solid: A solid alchemy product will be unable to react with other materials, without high amounts of energy or agitation.
Liquid: A liquid alchemy product will react with materials that are susceptible to interactions with the field that was transferred to the product.
Gas: A gaseous alchemy product will interact with the air around it, spreading evenly around a 3m radius, and will act like an explosive energy form.

>>>##### Crafting
>>> Crafting an alchemy product into a final material is known as honing. This can be done with one of four different tools.
The Armillary, Lantern, Centrifuge, and Humidome.
These tools will also provide the ability to transfer the property of the alchemical product into another item, or mix the product with other items to create a new item.
>>> Honing an alchemical product will cause it to change it's relationship with the homogeneous essence, from one that is primarily a method of storage to one that is utilizable under certain conditions.
The Cv of crafting is determined by 13 x the rank difference in the corresponding path associated with the tool, and the total combined higher ranks of the materials used. If no materials being used are of higher rank than your rank in the associated tool path, than the minimum Cv for crafting would be 13.
>>> #Armillary
Honing of solid alchemy products:
>>> - A solid alchemy product may be honed into an alchemy stone of equivalent rank. The alchemy stone will have the property of the alchemical product, along with an activation property of being shook.
>>>
>>> Transference of solid alchemy products:
>>> - The solid alchemy stone may be placed within the armillary along with another solid object. Upon crafting with both of them, the property of the solid alchemy product will be transferred to the other material.
>>>
>>> Mixing of solid alchemy products:
>>> - The solids are introduced to the hart of the armillary, and the arms are spun for the duration of the crafting. The resulting mixture will have both properties of the mixed solids, as a single object.
>>>
>>> A honed product containing Negredo that has been exhausted may be replenished with a new Negredo property by exposing the object to an energy source of equivalent or less rank.
>>>
>>> #Lantern
>>> Transference of gas:
>>> - The gasses are introduced to the lantern glass, and lit until uniform in color. The property of the gaseous alchemy product will be transferred to the other gas.
>>>
>>> Mixing of liquid:
>>> - The lantern glass is filled with liquids, and lit to bring both to a simmer. The resulting mixture will have both properties of the mixed liquids.
>>>
>>> A honed product containing Rubido that has been exhausted may be replenished with a new Rubido property by exposing the object to a sentimental source of equivalent or less rank.
>>>
>>> #Centrifuge
Honing of liquid alchemy products:
>>> - A liquid product may be honed into an alchemy tincture of equivalent rank. The alchemy tincture will have the property of the alchemical product, along with the default activation property of being imbibed.
>>>
>>> Mixing of gas alchemy products:
>>> - the centrifuge core is filled with gasses, and spun. The resulting mixture will have both properties of the mixed gasses.
>>>
>>> A honed product containing Albedo that has been exhausted may be replenished with a new Albedo property by exposing the object to a source of a different form of equivalent or less rank.
>>>
>>> #Humidome
Honing of gas alchemy products:
>>> - A gaseous product may be honed into an alchemy miasma of equivalent rank. The alchemy miasma will have the property of the alchemical product, along with the default activation property of being exposed to air.
>>>
>>> Transference of liquid alchemy products:
>>> - The Liquids are introduced to the humidome, and placed in a location with a stable temperature until uniform. The property of the Liquid alchemy product will be transferred to the other liquid.
>>>
>>> A honed product containing Citrinitas that has been exhausted may be replenished with a new Citrinitas property by exposing the object to a Living source of equivalent or less rank.
